Assessments at The Galloway School are ongoing academic tools used to inform and guide instruction. In addition, both formal and informal assessments allow teachers and staff to examine instructional strategies and practices. Lastly, assessments are used to provide information to parents, students and staff.
The Galloway School uses The Iowa Test of Basic Skills for its campus-wide standardized test. Students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth grade participate in this test each spring.
